last week a guy stole my neighbors 700 right off the trailer it was chained and locked . he took bolt cutters and cut the chain, then some how hot wired it and took off. it was noticed right away the cops were called and a hellicopter was brought in. the chopper spotted him in a corn field. he went threw 4 fences and tons of crops. the bad part is the 700 over heated and caught fire, the guy bailed and hid in the corn. he was found hours later. the 700 was a complete loss. the guy was in his upper 40s.

The farmer, I am sure was like those damn 4 wheelers always messing up my crops! They should ban them all, damn punk kids! lol

 

how the heck did it catch fire? I'm glad they caught the guy and think it's pretty sweet they sent a chopper out. Sounds like the police are on the ball out there.

 

Too bad on the loss, sounds like it went through a lot o sheet.

Glad the cops caught him and hope they beat his assss.

this is the biggest news are 2000 person town has had in a while. i saw the 700 what ever he did, over heating it or... throwing a match down the gas tank, it burned. it looked like the frame warped. and yes he had insurance
