i haev a 1995 polaris sportsman 400 4x4 and the woodruff key on the end of the crankshaft im talking on the side of the flywheel the woodruff key is what my repair manual calls it it is metal to metal the whole end of the cranshaft is round the key has not lips on it to pry it up so i need to know how to get it out for i can replace it thank u [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

Is the key torn up? have you tried using a chisel on it?

 

the key is not torn up it is just flay right with the crankshaft
