How to adjust air/gas on carb???
#1
We have a new/used 96 425 Magnum, it seems to be running rich, but I cannot figure any way to get a screwdriver on the screw to adjust it.
I think the screw is on the bottom front of the carb, but there is only about an inch of clearance.
Any help guys??
Thanks

A stubby wont fit in there, I'll try to grind one shorter and more narrow.
I get some black smoke, black fouling on the plug, a slight hesitation, and miss at low rpms.
thanks

Take the top off the carb, don't mess up the rubber diaphram pull the slide out , dump the needle out in your hand there shoul be a white plastic spacer on top of the needle dont lose it. Lower the little clip on the needle one notch, this will lean it out.
