Well, i have a trailblazer 250, it's been sitting not started for about a year. Well, i bought a new plug, drained the gas, fuel filter is clean, drained the carb. Finally got it started, sounds great, but when i go to rev it it just bogs out and will eventually shut off, only thing i can think of is maybe the jets need to be cleaned, idk tho, any help?

Hey just sounds to me that your carburetor has gotten some dirt or varnish in it since when you give it throttle, the volume of air is increased but the fuel either from the bowl/float or the main fuel jet is being restricted. If you have an air compressor, just remove the carburetor and disassemble (do on a clean table with a light colored rag ) and clean the jets and bowl valve. I've had 6 TB's and they all have carb problems from sitting. I've tried all the stabil adds and nothing works, especially out in this heat. If I know I won't be running, I drain the carb and gas tank. The main jets are always plugged or restricted.
