SP800 TEST-NEED HELP
#1
I just bought a SP800 and I have an idea I want to run past you. The other day I raced my P700 andthe results were pretty much what I expected. The SP800 is hurt by those massive 26' PXT's.
I want to put 25' Dunlops on it and try it out, that's right, DUNFLOPS. I read on tiresunlimited.com that Dunlop fronts weigh 15 pounds and the rears weigh 17 pounds. Can I put 25x10x12's on the rear? And what is the lightest wheel around for the SP? What will the decreased tire size do to the gearing?

I'm not sure what the current set-up weighs but it has to be substantially more than the Dunlops and and a lighter wheel. Wouldn't lighter wheel weight translate into harder acceleration? When you put larger tires on a quad, it gets noticably slower.

Cam, do a atv tire search. The pxt is sold under a diff name. I cant remember the site but one has all the weights of there tires. I think it may have been 18/21 f/r not sure though. As long as the tire height is the same f/r, It should be fine. reduce gearing via tire height. Dunflops? heavy rig for those. I'd be interesting to see what it does for ya. Spin Spin would be my guess. Let us know.
