Default 800 pull start

ok, i know that even attempts at pull starting a 700 is going to be super bitch +1. so, considering the 800 shares the same crankcase as the 700, im considering mounting a pull start. i know that since my quad is EFI, there might not be enough power to get the EFI jump started, however, apparently, the 06' 500 EFI, has a pull start to it, makeing it pheasable some how.

since the compression of the 800 is only slightly increased than that to the 700, the pull shouldent be overly different, other than ripping your arm off. what do you guys think of my idea, also, how much does the 700 MV pull cost, and do i just take off the crank basket on the right hand side and mount this one? im also guessing since im screwing with the crank that im going to have to drain my oil?

thanks all

I heard of a guy that was going to install one on his 700 over at the atvwild fourm. Also you won't have to drain the oil to put it on.

It was a 02 700 carb model. I'm not for sure he had it put on or not. I will post a reply and see.

Dont know if this applies or if there diffrent when it comes to efi but alot of snowmobiles are efi and pull start and are in some cases more than 800cc also its not that hard to pull that thing over i pull a 700 over all the time its all in your strategy
