I was all set to buy a SP500 efi this Fall until I heard about the X-2. It also has a 500 efi, but either rides 2 people or converts to a pickup bed w/in 30 seconds. It's 10" longer, has a 6.5" longer wheelbase, weighs 83 pounds more, but has a 6 gallon tank. A longer wheelbase usually means a better ride.

From what I read, that may be the machine for me.

 

I want one too, GP. Looks like a great quad. Plus it has four wheel EBS.

 

ditto im thinking I would like one for the "practical quad" of my stable.

how fast are the sportsman 500's?
