350L carb question
#1
Hi gang, I need a little help:
I've got a serious gas leak under my 350L carb (1992 trailboss 350 2-cycle). I cannot see any orifice that it's coming from without removing the carb. Also, I've got the carb vent tube that will overflow gas if I get the tank very full at all. This all occurred when it quit running I think. Are these two things related, like from a bad float, or bad seal for the float tank, etc? Any help is appreciated!

Cornbread2, I think you just said what I needed to hear too. I might as well put in a new carb kit while I have it off. Thanks!

Your problem is with the float needle and seat.
You most likely have a piece of dirt or something in there or you could need a new needle and seat. Either way it is no problem to fix and it sure beats buying another carb.
