You seriously don't get it, lol. You asked for parts, there is the parts breakdown. The reason you can't see the hole is because it is on the bottom of the block. I don't see the bottom of the block in that picture, do you?

It has been a long time since I worked on the water pump on a 400 but IF it does have a "weep hole" and it is leaking from this hole then you DO have a water pump problem.

LOL the reason i told you i couldnt find a hole is because I DIDNT see one in the picture, durrr. if i did find one now wouldnt i have told you that i did? look, if there is this "weep hole" that u speak of then you either have a bad seal somewhere or your water pump is not working, so talk to a pro and maybe you will get some good information. the only thing that i know of that has a weep hole are cars because they arent meant to flip and leak and everything. you flip atvs on a regular basis unless you are a pansy and drive 15mph everywhere u go. u jump them so that would in return make antifreeze flow out of the weephole because it isnt level. climbing hills the same way. checy your seals, water pump, and a possibility that the hole was caused by something unnatural. maybe you could show pistures and i could give you a better description of what to do.

Weep holes are put there for a reason and it has nothing to do with whether or not you "flip" on a regular basis not not.

Once again it you are leaking coolant out of this hole you have a problem with your water pump and it has nothing to do with "fliping"

Murph, your problem is the mechanical seal behind the waterpump impeller. Pull the waterpump housing and impeller and you will see the seal. Polaris has a special tool for removing the seal which you really need. If you try and remove the seal without it and damage the shaft then you will be looking at removing the engine to replace the shaft. Check with your local dealer, maybe they will rent you the tool.
The seal is around $45.00.

you totally misunderstood my statement. ANTIFREEZE WOULD LEAK OUT THE WEEP HOLE WHEN THE ATV BECOMES OFFBALANCE, THEREFORE FLIPPING OR JUMPING WOULD CAUSE IT TO LEAK, WHICH IN RETURN ATVS DO NOT HAVE WEEP HOLES THAT I KNOW OF. DOES THAT CLARIFY YOUR CONFUSION?

Coolant can only leak out the weep hole IF the water pump seal is defective.

easy now there cornbread.....settle down, don't make me hold you back, ha ha ha ha

Murph, it has a weephole just like on a car. Looks like a bad seal, but I think you know that. I have not changed this item, but I do know you need the puller to do the work.
Maybe somebody will chime in here that has worked on the waterpumps
