i miss the storms, sort of.
I do miss Palatine. We would ride our street bikes there for all the local meat markets.</end quote></div>
I was a kid...they were very cool...I used toi sneak out of the basement up to the picture window that over look a field across cook county road, that is now a business park. any way the lightning was bitchin until my mom would realize I had snuck out of the basement again. She would freak out every time about lighting coming thru the window and killing me. Luckily I had 3 little bros at the time and could sneak out a few times for every tornado warning.
I was there in 70-73. when were you there Budman?

OMG! do you remember that story where I played the father of my adopted son, Tyler from a foreign country and the wicked stepmother wouldn't let us see each other so we used the ATV forums to communicate? I think it was one of the "diesel" members giving me a hard time. he bought the whole thing and I couldn't tell him the truth.
Boy, we sure had good times here.

School? Remember?
I worked at Cary Metal products in Barrington. We built printing presses. I would travel around the country repairing presses. RR Donnely in Chicago was a big customer.
There was a popular deep dish pizza place by Barrington Lake.
Oh crap, pizza? remember? Dang, I'll have to call my wife. She'll remember.
