NO NO NO NO. The Fahrfargnuven is out. I bought a Ford Fusion, just like my pal Matt Kenseth. A true fan you know.

Good for you. I haven't heard too many good things about someof the VWs.
Seriously, how did you pick out the fusion?
A. Price
B. USA built
C. Brand loyalty, oops, you have a GMC
D. Best car that you researched
E. Matt gave it to you

Yep, the Vdub didn't have the best reviews when it comes to repair costs. The Fusion seems solid, and is rated at 23-31 mpg. Here is the kicker, the Mrs. wants it, no brainer.

Gas or diesel?</end quote></div>

Instigator!!!

The diesel issue seems to be turning a little with diesel prices so high. I would have to weigh the cost of gas motor vs diesel and hope the diesel gets much higher mpg.</end quote></div>

My truck has gotten 22mpg on the highway and gets about 17mpg mixed. That means that a comparable gasser (01 Chevy 2500HD Ex Cab) would have to get 14.75mpg mixed driving and 19mpg highway to break even at current prices here of $4.079 for the cheap gas and $4.699 for diesel.
I've got EFI Live now. So when I'm done having fun, I should be able to bump my highway mileage up to 26 or so. That is if my tranny doesn't take a crap!!

Howdy Nuts!

I have a bizarre post for you all.

My wife and I are going to China 7-16-08. I am going to be in charge of the factory that assembles Jetmoto quads. My wife is coming home after 3 weeks. Im going for a 2 mos trial period to see if we like each other.

Does this make me the biggest nut in the nut house?
