Gas or diesel?</end quote></div>

Instigator!!!

The diesel issue seems to be turning a little with diesel prices so high. I would have to weigh the cost of gas motor vs diesel and hope the diesel gets much higher mpg.</end quote></div>

My truck has gotten 22mpg on the highway and gets about 17mpg mixed. That means that a comparable gasser (01 Chevy 2500HD Ex Cab) would have to get 14.75mpg mixed driving and 19mpg highway to break even at current prices here of $4.079 for the cheap gas and $4.699 for diesel.

I've got EFI Live now. So when I'm done having fun, I should be able to bump my highway mileage up to 26 or so. That is if my tranny doesn't take a crap!!</end quote></div>
Hey Sparky, funny how you picked a 01 2500 chevy. I have the 8.1 and lucky to get 10 or 11 on the hwy, and I've been told I have lead weights in my shoe.
I don't think too many people can dispute the mpg ratings of gas vs diesel but there is also the initial cost and maintenance aspect also between the two.
Fire away!

Thanks Budman!

Thats what I think too. (so does my wife)

Im hoping the connection isnt blocked in China, I do get internet access so well see.

Quick version..

Bought my wife a 04 Yamoto 150 in early 04 and came here and talked about it.

Got to be friends with John at RaceWayATV in early 05.

He introduced me to Eugene (Jetmoto Pres) in early 06.

Ive done a lot of testing and improved a few parts on the existing models in exchange for the list of Jetmoto's I have.

Was first told about this job last Oct. It was going to be available in Feb. He sent another guy and he didnt work out.

I was on the phone with Eugene about 4 weeks ago talking about the Jetmoto 350. He brought up the problem he was having (with the other guy not working out) and I said Id think about going over.

My wife and I talked about it a lot and cant think of a good reason to turn down the opportunity. Both kids are adults, one moved out over 3 yrs ago and the other is a SR in college next year living at home sort of.

If it works out Ill be there about 1/2 of the year and here the other half. broken into approx 3 mos here/there repeat. That will all be worked out if the 2 mos goes well.
