2c3, your the one that controls your financial means. Why get upset with a fellow american who has the abilty to make more money then you? Find another occupation, a second job, work overtime or whatever you can, to enjoy life. Sounds like you have fallen into the fallacy that you can get everything you want on credit and still enjoy life. Live within YOUR means and quit complaining.

2.69 for 87 octane here in Huntington WV. I only live 9 mile from where they make it so I know they are making a fortune here on people.

It seems like everyone wants your money wherever you go. Bottome line is everyone wants to get rich quick. It makes me sick.

Gas is now $2.70 here. I have a feeling if we drill in Alaska nothing will change. We will still pay close to if not exactly what we pay now for gas.

I'm going to go crazy one day.

Time to go ride.

Im not trying 2 **** ppl off but i really could careless about the GAS prices. We cant live without GAS. If u wanna take a trip up north u cant hook your trailer onto a bike and haul it up north. Also i usually fill up when i hit half a tank. A lot of ppl run them till there empty and then fill up.

One reason I keep my wife's old '96 Mazda Protege around. Bulletproof anemic motor but it consistently gets about 32 MPG in mixed driving. Cruise control highway driving it can get up to about 37. My Maxima costs more to fill than the Explorer because it requires Premium. Now I know it could probably run on regular but it always feels like a 30HP drop when I have tried to use it with Reg.

..Oh ,..come on rick...bunch of woosies,lol...just kidding.

..You guys in the US DO have it pretty easy though. The gas in the US is basically free compared to the rest of the world, when based on comparative incomes,..and that is fact. Even in Canada we pay a LOT more for gasoline. Today in NS it is 1.12 / liter(1 US quart). ...that is 4.50$ cdn for a US gallon of gas. .....$4.50 is about $3.70 US $ for a US gallon of gas . Most of the rest of the world always wonders why people in the US have gasoline for next to nothing, when everywhere else is paying so much more?

..When I visit the US ,I notice that a lot of folks still drive big Suburbans and the likes,...I guess it is mostly because the gas cost is so extremely cheap, that it doesn't effect people so bad.

...Can you tell I'm jealous as heck, lol.

..Hey Rick...smokes just hit 11$/pack up here...send me another care package, lol.

Lets face it ......................it's not gunna get any better , were $1.05 a liter here in Ottawa , Canada , which translates to about $3.60 a gallon US

This is going to affect everything in the economy in a bad way........ especialy my type of buisness which exists on people who have some disposeable income..................... there's definatly less now !!!!!!!!!!!!

Brace yourselves people ,,,,,,, we hav'nt seen the worst of it yet !!!!
