I looked up the needles for a 400 sport and 2002 scrambler 400 2x4 on bike bandit.com and saw the part numbers are different between the two. I lost the needle for my stock scrambler carb and need to get a replacement.

Can I run a sport 400 needle in my scrambler without any problems? I know the main jet is larger on the scrambler then it was on the sports. Also anyone with similiar mods that wants to share needle clip position it would be appreciated. thanks in advance I'll be using this carb for light trail duty. PWK for everything else.
