Default Outlaw vs. Rappy EFI

I been looking to get a Polaris Predator for some time now, but I see this Outlaw coming out and I wonder if its worth the couple hundred extra bucks.

Is it?

More powerful from a carb mod despite a few dozen more pounds and a less efficient driveline? I didnt think the outlaw had enough of a boost to overcome its drawbacks and still be noticeably faster from the seat of your pants, a 2-4% hp gain usually isnt all that evident to the average recreational rider.

ATV magazines are good for two things, bathroom entertainment and toilet paper when you're done. I could care less who is winning the so called shootouts, they are called the "rags" for a reason. For all I care Polaris can whomp all over the raptor 700, at the end of the day you arent going to have a clue until you ride them yourself.

Now, is it really fair to group all of the Yamaha guys/gals in together? I am certain the Polaris forums are not void of ignorance.

They said it was faster more due to the suspension more then the extra power. They said you could go over the terrian much faster then the solid axle. It also said the IRS gave it better traction as both wheels would always be in contact with the ground, thus better acceleration. I was told it was 2-4 more HP not 2-4% more. 2-4 hp would give it about a 5-10% gain. And this is due to the new airbox design and carb mods. I also talked to a guy who went to the show and said the Outlaw had much more torque then the Pred to.

Fahq, yes it is.

GE, I wasnt sure what the hp improvements were I was just guessing based upon the type of upgrade they had done. Thanks for clearing up the article for me as I havent had a chance to read it yet.
