Yesterday while out riding my 800 I stopped on a slight grade to talk with the wife and was holding the rear brake, suddenly I noticed I was rolling a little and pumped the brake once or twice and it stopped.again. Then I noticed that when I would push and hold the rear brake lever it would slowly move down towards the floorboard until the brake was no longer holding. Anybody else notice this or do I have a problem starting here?

 

Could someone please just go out to your 800 and hold the rear brake pedal down for 20 or 30 seconds and see if it goes down? Thanks

I tried it out, My brakes do not leak. I tried it a few times and it held.

Sounds like a little air in your lines. There isn't much fluid in the rear brake rezzie, so I would try bleeding them.

 

Your have fluid bypassing the seal in your rear master cylinder, if it's under warranty have the dealer fix it.

 

I think you're right Powerslider. I don't think it's air in the system because the pedal feels firm when I first press it. It's not soft at all. But then it slowly starts to creep down. Thanks! And yes it's still under warranty.
