I have heard of a few people putting the 800 primary on the 700 and liking it. The 800 primary has a lower ratio starting point thats why the 800's take off so good.

I priced out a 800 primary didn't scare me to bad $297.00, i talked to a guy at hsp tonight where i got my clutch kit from for my 700 clutch and he said i could run there green spring and check max rpm for which gram of weight needed, now with my 700 clutch with the green spring and stock weights it will turn 6350 rpm at 62 mph, which is plenty fast for me. I am going to get the 800 primary and i'll report back on my findings.

Where did you find one for $297.00 ? The cheapest I have found one is $310.00. You do know that you need to buy the 800 belt to.

I looked the belt up at polarisoem.com and MSRP is $79.99 and they sell it for $71.99 + $5.00 to ship.
