Going sea level

Default Going sea level

will be going to the coast next week end , will i have to make any changes on my sp 700 carb.?
Here in Idaho am @ 4500 ft., will be going to portland then to the coast.
will it run okay?

Its probably going to run a little lean. Have you checked your jetting to see what it looks like now? If its a little rich it might be ok down there. You can take a couple size bigger jets with you just in case. Or you can tape up a little bit of your air filter that way your not taking in as much air and it will run like it does at 4500 feet.
