i could see polaris bumping up to a true 800cc and putting a hotter cam in it to push it past the bomb. what do you guys think?

 

possible, but not probable

guess we have to wait, i can see with this KTM deal that polaris is going to expand into the MX department and claim the YFZ's throne so i dont see very many sportsman updates for a few years

 

sportsmans are there bread and butter and i just cant see them setteling for second place. i got catalogs going back to 2003 and every year its a new model with bigger and better features. unlike the scrambler which gets new stickers and plastic color[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] one time a guy told me that there were not alot of after market things for polaris because they change them to much. i think thats a good thing because there always looking to improve..

 

I think Polaris will do something. They have never stayed in second long on 4x4 power...

 

i heard there was gonna be a dirtbike with a Pred engine in it i dunno probly just rumors but idk i guess we'll just have to wait [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

I could see them bumping up the cc's to compete with the bomb. They always improve every year. Even if they do though the bomb will have more power and be lighter. I think they should concentrate on weight and handling (not that it handles bad) but i think they have plenty of power all ready and dont need no more.

 

I bet you will see POLARIS rebadging the KTM line under the polaris name
kind of like KAWASAKI did with SUZUKI stuff

Baxy, I hope not. If i wanted a ktm I would buy one. It didnt work out for kawsuki so i dont think it would for polaris/ktm

 

ME either but I hear POLARIS wants into the motocross scene in a bad way!!!!!

I also heard that KTM wants a rig similar to the SPORTSMAN !!!!!!

who really knows all just speculation at this point!!!!!
