Has the HPD trail pipe changed over time?
#1
Well, just what the topic says...Has HPD changed the design of its trail pipe since its introduction? I'm looking at an older trail pipe(not exactly sure of the age) and am wondering if it will make as good of power as a new trail pipe. Thanks.

None of the HPD pipes designed to fit the 95 sport . By chance , they may fit though , I have never tried one .
The HpD trail pipe specs are the same on all years . The differences are in fitment , the late model pipes are assembled differently to accomodate the differences in engine location on the concentric drive models .
Race pipes are a different story , HpD made 2 types from what I recall .

Rick-
Thanks for the response. I am hoping that by chance one of the trail pipes for a newer machine will fit my 95 Sport 400. I browsed your website, but didn't see any pipes for my machine. Is that correct that you don't make an exhaust for my machine? How about for an Explorer 400? Thanks
