You're gonna love the steering dampener, once I got mine, I don't know how I did without it.

I had several "binding" throttle problems with the 42 mm Mikuni on my Scrambler 500, 2000 model.

The size/shape of the carb leaves only about 1/2 inch above it between the carb and the gas tank.

The Polaris dealer never did get it right. I have yet to get it back from a small trail riding repair group. Should do it muhself, but, no time for that, it would take me longer than them to figure it out!

While I had it running, before I complained of the sticky throttle, it was neat to see the front end loft up easily when I goosed it.

I need more effort into the clutching, because despite the improved breathing, my top end didn't change...

I'll have mine back next Friday and will comment after I ride it a little.

I called aaen bought that problem a while back and they gave me a new product that fits where the throttle cable does. And it come out of the side instead of the top of the carb its like a 90 degree cable. And all i paid for it was nothing they sent it to me for free sice i already had the carb. call up there and get one if thats where u got ur carb form
