A friend of mine has a 2005 sportsman 500 HO and he wants to know how to get rid of the little wrench that comes on the display when he turns the key on. He lost the manual so he can't refer to that so I was hoping somebody here could help him out. Thank You.

 

It's done in the diagnostic mode which is accessed by placing the machine in neutral, turning key off for at least 10 seconds then back on while holding the yellow reverse overide button. He will need to set another service interval by scrolling through the numbers till he gets to a number of hours he wants to be alerted again. On mine I set it for 20 hours.
