What is a good 100 yard E.T. for a mod. four stroke

I was at little sahara over Easter. The fastest 4stroke was a silver DS from Nebraska. I spent a lot of time at the strip, watching not racing, I only saw Doug make one pass. Maybe he was there when I was at lunch or something. I know the DS wanted to run you, as your reputation preceded you I meant that in a good way. You've always ben a good competitor and a good sport. I don't believe you were giving any misinformation on purpose to make yourself look good. Your bikes do that for you.

WE hit the drag strip all three days and raced anyone that wanted to, the fastest machine to us was a yfz setup for drags. If anyone wants to race all they had to do is come by the camp if we are not in the dunes, my trailer sticks out. I am not saying that he did not beat everyone else, but just as I said there was not the fast machines we ussually see at the dunes that weekend and we never lined up with that DS, I guess. We did do a lot of riding also all three days as my son likes to jump and that was the best weekend for jumping we have seen for many trips. But we kept swinging by the drag strip and making passes, we must have just gotten unlucky to miss you. We did see a DS with nice paint but it was in the camp ground. I know there are a coulple of very fast YFZ's from down south , that I raced last fall, they were the fastest to me last fall in the dunes, but they were not at Easter. Also on the drag strip there was a Drag framed raptor that was way fast, I traded wins with him(Last fall). I will not make any statements on how fast and what he told me for times he runs down south, as I want no more confusions. It funny you say you were there a lot and missed us, saturday we stayed close and kept hitting the strip(but if no one was racing we went on ) I have no dought there was a fast DS that beat everyone else, because my sons MX bike beat everyone but me. And yes there was a few times we just swung through and made a few passes and then left to jump. But there was never a lot of people hanging around the drag strip like we have seen in the past years. The dune drag strip was a lot rougher than normal that weekend and I think the fast banshees stayed away, because we never seen any of them in the dunes. Sorry we missed this fast DS, maybe next trip we will get lucky and meet up. I have heard there is a turbo DS that really flies at Little Sahara, could this be the machine? When I said no one beat me, that is true, but if I missed a fast DS it was by accident as I try to race everyone when we go to the dunes. Sometimes I went back to the strip by myself just to check out the drag strip. WE were there Friday, Sat. , and Sunday, and we camped by the Oais. Again no disrespect meant, but I can not know if I missed a fast machine, that is the problem with dune racing.Did he ever race the drag setup YFZ and how did he do against him? He was light and had a lot of work done.MY son and I both raced him, but there was not much else there, at that time.Again sorry we missed you, Doug

I got to race one of the 550 something Pred's at St Joes MO. It ran pretty good till it blew the side out of the case. I'm pretty sure he said it was built by you guys. Why it blew, I have no idea??? Just going on what I was told.
There is lots of 4 sec 4 strokes in this area. I was planning on comming up to the Neb race in Oct but now we're heading down to the Clash at Sicily Island LA. If you want fast bikes, come down and try them. If you want competition, this will be some of the fastest.

Polaris freak, Yes, I have I built a few that are faster than the Power Max. At this time I have one that is faster and one that is equal. I actually had my son on the power max and I was on one of the Predators at a race up north. I won the class and Matt got second. It was an unlimited class and had many two strokes in it plus a few fast four strokes. The thing is, it takes way more money to build a Predator that fast and keep it together( lots of custom built parts an knowing how to set the motor up). ALSO, thanks Zombie for the post, I am terible with computors and have no idea on how you put our pics on. I really did have the facts wrong (it was an honest mistake as a lot had been said all this year about the blue raptor and your raptor) and for that I am very sorry and hope everything is back to normal. Matt and I have always enjoyed your Raptor as it is a work of art. I know someday we will meet up and have a good race. If I get beat then that is the way it is. Competion is great as it makes us all go faster. See ya at the races, Doug

Doug I think the reason for a lack of hot bikes at easter was the temp, too cold for alky. MIne ran like crap and it was on gas. bad carb. The fastest 4stroke for a while was a yfz from some builder down south I believe with an 80 pound kid riding. It beat our best DS until we put my Doug on it . Then he didn't lose but it was dang close. Sorry we didn't see ya at the strip. The silver ds is in Oregon now and mines still in pieces. Maybe it will be up for Genoa. Hope to see you then. John.

I was the guy with the white raptor at westfair! I made 2 or 3 runs.... first run i spun all the way down the track...2nd run i thought i would set all the way back for traction and ended up wheeling sideways into the haybails! Setup is what got me out of the races real quick. The Nicholas cycle predators run well! Earlier in the summer i was trading wins with the black dragon bike at NRP which is another local track and was also having traction problems! Im not trying to take anything from Nicholas and the westfair races ..... because a win is a win!!!
