They didn't have many details other than a "pure race oriented quad" would released. The article is in the September edition of Ehlert Powersports Business. They did say probably a Polaris chassis with KTM motor, and they said 2006! This is why Polaris didn't come out with a new race quad. The Outlaw is their new trail quad, with KTM releasing the Polaris race quad I guess.

The artist's rendering looks pretty cool. Of course, the end product will look very little like it.

 

I would venture to guess that if it's going to be race oriented that it will be the 450. There have been rumors for awhile on a 450 KTM so hopefully this will be it. If the price is right I may have to take a serious look at it..................

More than likely it would be a 4-stroke, as the government is tightening regulation on the 2-strokes. That is why this is the last model year for the Banshee.
