I thought I would make available some pictures of my first top end tear down. I have made two threads on atvconnection and people have been helpfull to me. I have eliminated the oil injection pump and oil tank and then blocked it off. Installed a new throttle cable. Thoroughly cleaned the carb. Put it back together and it still wasnt running right. I couldnt get it to idle without stalling. Then I started looking around the engine and noticed a piece of the base gasket between the clutch and the jug (this seems to be common). So now I'm replacing the base gasket. I think I know how this happened!!! I bought this machine used a month ago and the seller said he just put new piston and rings in. After reading these forums I see that its very important to check the torque after it has been rode awhile. Hopefully after I do this OEM gasket replacement it will run. If someone has any suggestions for this newbee please give it to me. I'll post more pictures as I go.
