Lectron Gas carb? Has anyone tried this.
#1
I noticed reading some test articles at ATV Source and looking at street bike mods that alot of them use lectrons in gas form.
Seems that all the alky guys are having such good success that someone would have tried this.

I've used lectrons on lots of vehicles and I love them. I have had excellent results from the gas versions as well as alky. They are very simple to tune in also. If it is going on a 2-cycle it needs a powerjet.

If you already have the 39pwk then keep it. You can always have it bored to a 40.5 if you want. The pwk will have a little more throttle response down low and some will say it will make a little more power. The lectrons can be tuned literally in minutes without pulling the carb bowl or having to loosen it up.

Thanks bubba this is more my curiosity going nuts the stock 34 was really ticking me off this weekend.
Shaun the lectron is 40mm at the flange and then drops to 38mm I read a good article on it yesterday that atvconnection won't let me post . There also priced really similiar to the PWK.

You can get them like that, you can also get a straight 40,38,44 or almost whatever combo you want. The idea of a larger bell and smaller snout opening is to increase velocity, improve flow, and make a better signal for fuel.
