Good Service manual
#1
A couple of weeks ago I got a 1996 Magnum. I ordered a service manual for it but I have been kind of dissapointed in it. What would be a good one that will show a over all break down, parts no. and where to lube? Thanks

Not sure of a paper book that shows parts break down. I think a micofiche of that year might be available? If it was, I would bet that the part numbers in it might not be totally correct. U still would have to print it out somehow
I would just go to one of the many web sites that offers this for free, both a exploded view with current part numbers. From there U can print that web view from your PC/Printer.
Here is one of them, Polaris direct link:
Polaris link for parts breakdown
As far as pointing out where to lube, the Polaris Service Manual does a fair job, pages 2-5 thru 2-9 if U indeed get a Polaris Service manual for 1996 Volume II.
