Default Pure Polaris Pipe question

I just ordered the plates 4 the pipe. If i add plates it gains mid-range and top end and makes it louder? If i take off the plates from the stock 8 i will gain bottom end and makes it quieter??? any feedback would be great!

You are correct adding more plates will increase your mid range and top end. Removing plates will add more low end power. I started with 12 plates and ended up using only 6 plates for more low end.

i got mine from ronnies.com or rockeymountianatv.com...........i forget which one.

but ya i guess stock comes with 8(or whatever), i added 2 more and im happy. i just couldnt keep the front wheels on the ground so thats why i added more. mostly for hill climbs, i just dont like the feeling of doing a wheelie on hills that you gotta gas it or else your not making it.
