I was wondering if there is anything out there you can spray on your engine and hoses that will clean them. Like a spray bottle of something. I've used soapy water but its a pain to get to all the engine parts and hoses and stuff.

Another question.... how long does it take you guys to get your ATV squeaky clean? I mean I can scrub mine for an hour...wait till it dries and still se a ton of spots I missed.

Just looking for a little help to make my HO shine!!

Eli, over at the High Lifter site they have a detailing forum with a lot of different products and methods to clean a quad. I rinse lightly with a PSI washer then hit the bad spots with Simple Green, rinse, towel dry, then hit the whole quad with STP tire foam and the machine looks new.

On the aluminum parts I use "Aluminum Brightener" from NAPA, it's kinda acidic but gets the struts and diffs looking like new. I couldn't believe it the first time I used it and use it a couple times a year when I give her a "showroom" cleaning.
