Default mudlite 27's for 04 700efi HELP!

Hello All

Well I managed to fatally wound my rear right Kenda Radial (25's). So, during a No Tax sale I decided to purchase a full new set of ITP Mudlite 27's, and it was a total impulse buy!!!!

My Kenda's are 25's and under the guidance of "Parts Counter Guy" I bought the 27's cause he said they'll fit no problem given the size of my machine..

Well got them home, sized them up.... and just eye balling them next to my exisitng tires... I think I am gonna have some issues..

Current tires:

Front - 25x8x12
Rear - 25x11x12

New tires:

Front - 27x9x12
Rear - 27x12x12

Anyone that has ITP 27's on their 2004.5 Polaris 700efi, I need a bit of a shopping list and an expectation (as in clutching, power loss etc.)

Issues that I can see right of are all up front - Tie Rod clearence/wheel spacers
current faring up front looks like it will rub for sure.

The rear looks to be fine.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Hey,

I went though the same thing but stopped before I bought the 27" tires. They will run the front tire rod ends and you need to install wheel spacers on the front of the machine. I just bought a complete set of ITP XTR mudlites with T7 rims and they look sick and fit great without any modifications. No loss of power and I have them on an 04.5 Sportsman 700. I post some pics the end of the week.

Thanks for reply

That tie-rod is just way too tight!!

Fenders are my next issue... I am looking to see if there are any aftermarket mud skirts that will replace the factory fenders on it now.

or

Do I buck up and get a high-lifter for it....
