I can't remember it exactly. It's one of two things. I know for sure the rear brake does not work once shifted into nuetral. So when shfting from forward to nuetral to reverse you can lose control. If I remamber right the reverse is on a separate shaft as forward and the disc is on the forward shaft. So you would have no rear in reverse either.

Yeah, found the manual. Says it will flip over backwards. I also figured out what the switch on the left side handlebar was for. It's to kill off the rev limiter in reverse. Still waiting to be able to take this thing out someplace where I can give it it's test run after the rebuild.

from what i've heard back in the day cylones were amazing. my dads got 2 of them but there in peices. were working on restoring it slowly but surely. from what ive been told/heard. back in the day the cyclone was polaris's 250r. they only made them 1 year and had to quit because it was so light and everyone was being hurt on them. your lucky if u got one that runs realy well, and fro free too!
