my 03 predator will only start if i push it then pop it but when i use the electrical start it just turns and does not fire any sugestions ? ?

What is that

 

Make sure you have spark at the plug first..........if so.....then make sure it is getting fuel.........if so........then probably a starter or fuse problem........

 

if i can push start it does that mean i have spark?

 

What happens when you pull the choke out? Do you have a aftermarket breather hose on your gas cap? Had similar problem with friends 04' pred the other day, would only start if choke was all the way out. Filled up gas tank and it finally stayed running.

 

No if you push start it doesnt mean you have a spark. what you will want to do is pull out your spark plug but leave the cap connected. Make sure the spark plug is grounded (i.e have it touching the cylinder or something like that) then push the start button and if there is a spark you will see it. if not then like bradracer18 said, you will want to look at your gas line and then check

Have the same problem and it now has a bad intake valve...the quad has less than 50 hrs on it.

start by adjusting your ETC and go from there.

been there done that! IT'S YOUR VALVES! either out of adjustment or stuck open or springs Anyway you look at it I bet your valve need work.
