Default Im getting a SP800 tomorrow, I have a few questions.

Hello all,
I have decided to get the SP800 and Im getting it tomorrow. I have a few questions about available accesories before I buy.
I am wanting to get the Warn 2500 winch kit and I also want the Silver tube front and rear bumpers. My dealer also offered me a set of Kenda 14" wheels and tires for $500 if i give my stockers up.

My questions are these:

1. is the warn 2500 enough winch?
2. are the bumpers strong enough to really protech, or are they just for looks?
3. How does the 14" wheel size effect the ride of the bike? I would think it would mean less sidewall and thus less flex making them not performa as well as 12" wheels and tires, or am i wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Eddie

you can get the 14 " setup from Breese lawn and Garden on ebay for $569 outright, i wouldnt give up the stockers AND $500!

you are correct on the tire set up, better sport handling and great looks.

Eddie:

1. For what? What do you plan to tow? I pulled a Honda 450 out of a waterhole with my 2000# winch and now I have a 2.5ci like what you are getting. Once again, what do you intend to pull? Unless you are doing something stupid like pulling 2 stuck machines, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are that worried, upgrade to the 3.0ci for $140 more.

2. Protect against what? An 800 EFI is not what I would recommend for a beginning rider. If you have decent experience and you ride within reason (the 800 EFI is not a quad runner) you would probably be ok. I would say it was just for looks and to part you and your hard earned money.

Eddie the 2500 ci warn is what i have on my 2006 800 sportsman efi it is all you need.for bumpers i don't have any yet but i am looking for a set i like i recomend getting a set because you need something to lift, pull, and push on .and as for tires i recommend stock size but something a little more aggersive.that is my opinion on your questions .william
