spyder.......I'd go with the whole system from Rath..........they make quality stuff. There header(old) is really nice, and they have tested a lot, and made the new one.......i will have one soon!!! I also suggest you call doug nicolas www.nicholascycle.com and get the carb mods of his(atleast one of them) and then run the filter he suggests(I think its a uni clamp on filter.......they make power too......) His carb/filter setup are great, they make power and give way more response. I've had a drop in kandn by the way.........so I can compare.

i dont know how much more responsive you can make the carb on this thing, it feels even more responsive than the EFI on my 800. as far as the rath set up, i just like the E2 and HMF. any additional info on it that might sway my opinion at the moment im leaning for a E2 or a HMF slip on with the rath header

The rath full system would be what i'd go with. They designed their headpipe to go with their muffler. Check it out on their page. They also have a pretty sweet carbon fiber pipe(but its pricey)....I've heard the hmf makes good power, but have heard it is loud. Hpd pipes(fulll system) is a good way to go.......but they don't quite have the eye appeal that most want. Doug Nicholas's drag pipe is a good way to go too......but i've heard it is pretty loud too......but very light weight.

Trust me, the carb can become way more responsive........this is by far one of the best mods you can make!!!! PM Raj on the forums......he is a good guy, and knows a lot about the pred. He has had the carb done too.....and has tried a lot of setups......

Well the HMF is loud, but you can put the quiet core in it which lowers the dbs down to 94 (if memory serves me correct).

If i were u i would keep the PP pipe and get the new rath header. its totally tunable. add more disks for more top end and take disks off for low end. i just bought the new rath header unfortunetly it doesnt get shipped till the 14th. also i bought 12 more disks. im putting 4 more on the pipe. 12 total. guys on the predatorowners website r saying its gonna be a killer combo man. just a thought tho.

i remember on the rath raceing website how they mentioned that their header was designed to work with the PP pipe. im wondering since the gains with the rath header and the PP pipe are so great, and how everyone loves the E2 and smiley races with it, how an E2 muffler would run with a Rath header. and thoughts? i wonder if it would work good if i could just get the silencer instead of a full set from PP
