[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] i bought a 2001 90 sportsman for my 2 little guys and i cant get it running.I have a new battery,but im not getting any juice at all anywhere.i checked all wires to make sure there are no breaks, i also made sure the safety pull out thingy is pushed all the way in.i know it is something silly but i cant figure it out.please help if u can.my kids are ready to ride,thank you.

 

Somewhere I saw an article on installing a larger ground wire from the battery. I'll check around in my notes to see if I can be of more help.

 

They have a fuse that protects the whole electrical system. Try to find and test that. It should be around the battery.

 

Do you know the proper starting proceedure? Hold clutch in on left hand side when sitting on the machine , then push the starter button.
Will it turn over at all?
If not then it might be the stator or coil.

 

ok he jumped the relay and it has power now and will turn over. Hope to have this thing started soon. Welcome to the forum "nuts." This place makes the hobby we enjoy a little more fun to deal with problems with everybodys input. Anybody have .pdf of service manual for this thing?
