secretive, Predator front brake fix??????
#11
No one knows...........I think they were just designed/built wrong from the factor, and have been neglected ever since.........Mine only turn about 1/2 a turn on a pretty hard turn.......

i have an 06 pred, i have pretty bad brake drag. i roll the wheels very hard and they continue you roll for about 6 inches and stop. i dont really notice the problem much, but im sure it cuts atleast a few seconds off my drag time

All the fastest predators(nicholas/Rath/even hpd) have a brake mod done.Rath uses honda braks spindle and hubs,Not sure what nicholas uses but in the pictures I've seen the master cylinder is not stock. At one time I heared Hpd was making a fix, they said it was the master cylinder(brake handle).
SPYDER6--You say the 06 has it ,then i believe what i was told is BUll,I don't think the outlaws brake are different. I do believe polaris may try to fix this tho.

i mean, i can sit on the ground and roll my pred with my index finger no problem, but i can hear the front calipers grinding the disk without me even near the brake handle. the rear brake however does not have any brake drag

It is just the front brakes i think.......haven't ever really tested my rear(because of the chain drag too)........There is just too much pressure in the brake system......some have fixed with little springs, but that sounds like a horrible idea to me.......
Many are fixing them with 300/400ex brake systems, and I think the 400sport/scrambler system will work too.
Doug, just cuts his off.......on the drag bikes......he doesn't use the front brakes........
