The Quadfather made me a good deal on his used RCR Stage 1 kit for my '98 400 Scrambler and I have
just 2 words for him...THANKS ALOT! I installed the whole shebang.. mid range pipe, clutch spring, new main jet and the airbox mods in about 5 or 6 hours. It was definitely money well spent. I could tell a difference thru the entire power range even though this is the mid range pipe. The low end seems awesome and the mid range just rocks. I won't be sneaking up on anybody because the new pipe & silencer are louder than stock, but I like it that way. I can't wait to hit the trails and really give it a workout.

What kind of riding do you do? I ride anything from long, straight, wide open dirt roads to thick, gooey mud, to rim bending, frame scraping rocky hills to sand pits, and everything in between. My only problem is I can't decide where to put the power on my 00 TBlazer: Bottom end, mid range, or top end. No matter where I ride, I always want a liitle more power here or there, so I don't know. Glad you like your new found power, and thanks for any help!!!

I ride about like you do, trails, hills, mud, long straight stretches. I went trail riding today for the 1st time since I put on the stage 1 kit and I loved it. There was no shortage of power when climbing hills and on the straight stretches.

Fasternu,

For a TBlazer I would suggest top end pipe.It seems to have great mid range power and exceptional bottom end.You need more top for racing and for hitting that gooey mud with momentum=)
