Default Ride FREE until 2007

It looks like Polaris has a new promotional offer Ride FREE until 2007, no down/no payments/no interest until 2007. After that 13.9% rate and you pay back at 2% a month.

So other than the rate being a little high in 2007. Has anyone taken advantage of a deal like this to get started and then refinanced before the rates went up?

Damn, no incentives for cash purchases...

I was expecting the free winch like last year.

Sure, buy your wheeler on financing now, let you cash accrue interest until 2007, then pay it off and have a little cash left over. Sounds like an incentive to me.

it's 14% interest rate after the 12 months! that's crazy if you leave a balance after the 12 mo.

after the 12mo is over, the minimum payment per month is 2% of the financed ammount. (read the fine print.LOL)

the 0% is only good IF you pay it off in 12 months.

also offered is the 6.9% $69/mo for 24 months option. if you send an extra $200 per month (in other words make payment of $269/mo) in 2 years that extra $200 turns into about $4800. (simple math $200 X 24 = $4800) HOWEVER there is "deferred interest" calculated a 6.9%. it could be as much as $100/month so the 6.9%, $69/mo deal isn't that sweet afterall!

I think the 0% for 12months IS the best option. imho.

Thats how I got my scrambler in 04'. I spent the money I saved up on mods and equipment. also paid it down about 1300 and then refied through my credit union at %3 for 3 years right before the promotion ended.

I did something similar but got this offer from Chase that was 0% until it was paid off. Transferred over to that. Since there is no interest I just make minimum payments on it.

i edited my above post after studying Polaris's "deferred interest" on the 6.9%, $69/mo option.

the 0% until 2007 is a MUCH better option.

BTW, even though no payment is required, if i were you, i would send a payment of any ammount every month. just doesn't seem right to me not to make a payment on something that you OWE on.
