BRAKE PADS WEAR TIME??
#1
what is the average time it takes for your brakes to wear? mine have worn a little too fast it seems. i think we changed them about 7 months ago and now they are worn on the outside but not all the way on the inside on the front 2 disk...????

My GF 05 outlander 400 was metal to rotor after less than a thousand miles. Just put EBC SV (severe duty) series pads on. Have not had alot of chance to trail ride since but she says stops better now than when it was new. I had dealer do the work on mine since I knew caliper would have to be rebuilt. I am sure they put the polaris oem's back on it would rather have done the EBC here also.

Definately go with the EBC severe duty. Just put some on a friends sportsman 400 and they are awesome. They seem to have better stopping power than the originals. When mine wear out i'm going to get some. Haven't had them on long enough to really tell anything about wear but they are some thick pads.

I got hers from Dennis Kirk. Probably could find cheaper but since is in MN is next day for me as they ship same day if order early enough..
