Default Need some advice on Front end

Thanks. I knew I should have not relyed on the dealership to get me the right stuff. So, I have all the wrong fluids in the front and rear. Of course, no dealerships open tomorrow, so I will have to wait until Monday. Any suggestions for flushing the front and rear? I have pulled the plugs on both, found some stuff on the end of the magnets that I am not happy with. I am pist.....

I would use a little compressed air to push as much out the drain as possible then fill with the correct fluid and drive it around slow for a few miles then drain it again/refill and see how it goes. Change it again if it works ok in 50 miles or so and that we hope will take care of it. You might mail order if the drive is that far but the place I used is defunct (Ashville Motorsports) Try Ronnies or West Plains Polaris, I have dealt with them in the past....

This is the exact same problem I've seen at one of the dumbass dealers here in Albuquerque, they say to use a certain type of fluid, but the problem is that the salesman is telling you what to use or the guy behind the parts counter....the person that really knows works in the backroom working on the machines, the mechanic...

I went through this whole thing before and posted a thread on here about it....you most likely didn't cause any damage, drain the fluid, put in the right fluid and then drive it some and see what happens, drain it again and replace it, should be flushed out....

then go take the old fluid and dump it over the head of the guy that sold it to you

Thanks Elkbow. That though has crossed my mine. For being a Star Polaris dealer, these guys are dumb*#&. I will go to the other dealer and see if he is any better. He is smaller, but maybe that is what you need to be to know what is going on.

I hope everything is fine. I guess I will have to wait till Monday to find out.
