dude, for the love atv's, change that oil (ASAP!!!) oil is way,way cheaper than motors

OIL CHANGE

I have two machines,a 97 425 and a 03 700 I have used castrol syntec 5w 30 in both since they were new , no problems never use a drop of oil. The 425 has over 4000 miles and the 700 has over 2000. Have never heard about using this oil in the trans. but you guys say it works so I'll try it , it's got to be as good as the polaris stuff and alot cheaper. Thanks for the info.

oh yeah almost forgot, my local auto parts store stocks Wix filters for both machines, $6.00 apeice.

So PS-4 is a full synthetic, right? What weight is it so I know where I stand?

And Castrol and Mobile both make good full synthetic oils and living in arizona I could go for a 5w50 or so?

No, i think PS-4 is for 4 stroke wet clutch machines like the pred and most other full manuals.
If it dont say sytnthetic or full synthetic its not. Make sure you buy full synthetic .
some are blends or just traditional oils.
