obviously they lied about cycling it 3-4 times. they didn't test anything.

BTW, i just received mine back. they said the ENGINE was out of ALIGNMENT. shifting seems good now. will test this weekend to see if the stalling is solved.

My dealer is very busy and when I made the deal and bought the quad he told me that I would have to wait a couple of days to get it. I asked them if they could do it the same day and they checked and worked me in to get it out to me. I think that the mechanic listened to the fan cycle, but he probably wasn't looking at the speedo and seeing the hot lamp come on. He was probably working on something else and doing mine at the same time. I have a good dealer and I don't think he would have let it go out the door if he knew it wasn't fixed because he knows that I will be calling if something isn't right.

i understand.
BTW, i wonder why Consumer Reports doesn't rate ATVs? they rate almost EVERYTHING else! LOL! i wonder how each Mfg would stack-up for reliability, first 180 days of ownership, overall satisfaction, refer to a neighbor, purchase another ATV from the same Mfg.?

i think that would help ATV Mfgs put a little more care into their products. don't you?

it might just raise the bar a little as well for ATVs overall!.....or it might put a Mfg out of business with the low marks!

just a thought!

If yours is hard to shift, the clutch alignment is probably off. Mine was doing the same thing and the dealer fixed the alignment and no problems after that.
