I sold my 05TLD to get the Outlaw as it was to be out by the end of Nov. About 3 weeks ago I was told now the beginning of January. Now today at my dealer he showed me a memo from polaris saying they expect delivery around the start of March. I am a very aggressive rider and have raced 9 GNCC races and the Outlaw seemed to be the atv for my style. I have been without a sport quad for allmost 3 months and really miss the rush of it over a utility. I don't know if I can wait another 4 months, and that is even if they come out then. They said it's due to part suppliers. Well I just don't know how true this is. My dealer said he will sell me a 06 Raptor 700R for $6500. It's a very appealing offer since the 700 has been getting great reviews and is know to be very fast and handels well. I've allready waited 3 months, but 4 more I think is out of the question, especially when 6 months later the 07's will be out. What to do.

 

If the Outlaw will not be out till March I might as well wait till next Oct to get mine. The Desert season will be all most over and it would just sit all summer. We have no MX track in San Diego to ride on.

In all honesty, wait for the second production year regardless of when the bike will actually be available. Polaris over the years has been known to quickly make needed modifications on the second year bikes and they are worth the wait... My two cents...

I agree.......I sure wish my '03 pred was a later model, due to the problems that they eventually fixed. I'd personally just wait(after march)........for the next year's production. I think you'll find its a good thing they are pushing the time back........other models recently have been comming out quick, but have recalls(sportsman I think). Don't really know what to tell ya........but if I was going to wait until march, I'd just wait until 07............get something to tide ya over til then..........rappy 700 might be just the trick.......heard they are a nice machine.

 

Don't worry.... spyder 6 say's it will be out end of DEC or JAN, and as you know he gets his information strait from the horses mouth, and can't be WRONG!!! ON the other hand I've been saying that POLARIS simply was not ready to produce the" OUTLAW "

Man, those newly restyled 400ex's are looking temping. With that headlight on the nose and reverse that is one mean machine.


Ok...not funny. Sorry. But seriously, anybody that knows anything will tell you to wait for '07. I wouldn't blame you for getting the 700R.
