hi folks, your to love this. you the ole saying if its too good to be true it isn't? well i just found it out to be true. dont ever try to buy something from (rayfromusa_todd21) on ebay. he was selling a 05 sport. 800 for cheap money so i took him up on this and got to the paying part of the deal and i was supposed to west. union 2 payments to an escrow acc. anyways i contacted ebay and found out the info and the response didnt come them. so what out for those good deals

 

Don't worry, he's no longer on ebay. Ususally if seems too good to be true, it probably is.

 

Yeah I saw this one too. I even responded, but suspected a scam. As you said... it was to good to be true. I sent him a series of e-mails asking questions including where the quad was located, to which he would always respond with something like "... if you're serious about purchasing this quad, send me your name and shipping address and E-bay will take care of the rest. ... The quad is located in Vestal, New York. "

My last e-mail to him is shown below.... he never responded!

Why was your auction for this quad removed from E-bay? I also notice that I cannot find you as a member any more. How will E-bay handle the rest of the transaction especially if you are not a member? Exactly what are they going to do?

I would be more comfortable just coming to New York, seeing the quad, paying in cash and taking it home.

Can you send me more pictures of the quad. Specifically you should include a picture of the VIN number.

Also... where did you buy the quad? I need the name of the dealership, address, and phone number, the name of the sales guy who sold it to you.

If you've only had the quad for 2 weeks, providing this info should be no problem.

yea ebay them selfs said they didnt send me the conformation emails, so he knew what he was doing but glad most of us are smarter then that lol.
