I ride similar conditions to you. I just switched to the Kenda 23x10 Knarly Rear with a 24x7 Claw XC Front on Douglas Alum. Rims. I love this combo. It handles awesome and is more predictable then any other combo that I have tried.

Hope that helps

i put razrs on 160 douglas on my o5 scrambler. i have not used them in the snow yet, but iam very happy with the ride and handling on hardpack, plus the alloy wheels make it look great. i got them from rocky mountain atv, around $350 with shipping.
