Default Sportsman 700 EFI V/S Brute Force 750

My buddy and I just turned in our old four wheelers and got new ones. I stuck with Polaris and got a 700 EFI (had 03 sp 600) and he got the new brute 750 (he had the Rincon 650). Both are quite capable and both nice looking. The features on the Sportsman are alot nicer, storage, better racks, heaver built and real skid plates. But when it comes to performance, WOW he blows me away. That thing in a straight line pulls away from the start and never gives me a chance. In the woods, I still think I got the upper hand which is where we do most of our riding. This is only the firtst day and there is more to come

the 800 bearly has enough power to beat a brute force in a drag, your 700 is going to have a tough time keeping up with that brute in the open feilds

Give your 700 some time to break in and you can do some clutch work to keep up with the 750. The 750 pulls like crazy from start to top. The 700 is a little weak in the clutching department but it can be fixed to compete with the BF.

yeah, a K&N, no airbox lid, Pure Polaris E-series exhuast w/ turndown, sportsman 800 Primary TEAM clutch, a Power commander, Sportsman 800 Header, and a timing advance and you'll be taking on BRP 800's

I'm not in to racing, but it's always fun to see who's faster. I will guarentee that at the end of a looong day riding, I will be less fatigued. Plus, you got to buy what you like, and there is no doubt that I love my machine. And like I said, most of driving is 25mph or less, pushing over trees and hitting mud holes. At least I don't have to pull extra levers to have real 4x4 action.
