would a predator 500 beat a '86 quadracer 250 in a drag race?

The Predator??? Very good for that.

 

predators are good at just about everything

 

Stock for stock, yes. But the lt responds to modifications very well and a piped one can give a stock pred a decent run. If you're looking for a trail bike I'd suggest the pred, if you're a racer I like the LT because of the low cost of power.

 

would the quadracer be good for jumping too? i've climbed hills on one and its a blast, but the guy never let me jump it. I was thinking about getting a quadracer or a trx250R, but the hondas look like they got poor suspension. but i'm kinda looking for a racing quad, like a YFZ 450 or a 450R, or 250R or lt250R.

 

the honda 250Rs have always been considered to be faster and better suspended bikes than the quadracers. dirtwheels ran an old shootout of the two in a past issue and the 250R whooped the quadracer.
