Do a search -- AWD problems and solutions come by all the time.

But as a start, does the AWD indicator on the pod come on? If not, your switch may be bad.

When was the last time you changed your front gearcase fluid?

And check for +12v on the AWD wire leading to the front gearcase when the AWD is on. If no voltage, you can track the problem from there.

Well there’s your answer (female driven) That’s like a left handed carpenter using a right handed saw (just kidding!)

Sometimes a low battery will play games with the AWD. Start with the simple stuff first, charge the battery and check the specific gravity if you have the tools.

Can you describe your problem a little better? By "inop", do you mean that it won't work at all? Kicks in sometimes? We can't help you if we don't know exactly whats going on.

my 2wd works fine, my turf mode works fine.
when i put the switch in AWD i get nothing. no light on dash, and no front wheel power at all.
it worked fine yesterday when hauling wood up to the house from my wood lot. i then parked the machine. then decided to go screw around the yard and no AWD.????
fluid is full all around.

Glad you got it all worked out. The wires pulled out on their own, without running over a stick or something? Or were you riding through the woods?

i think when i did the motor work/tires/2in lift i cut the zip ties that connected them to the front verticle support. and then while coming up my dirt road from my wood lot there is a tight corner for the machine and trailer, so i believe the lug on my mud lite grabbed it . who knows?
