I'm not to sure on how much juice it would suck you could check with the manufacture on that one. As for mounting it there are four bolts that hold the rack support on and they are attached to the frame, so when I get my winch i'll mount it upside down and i'll have to weld some angle iron onto the mounting plate in order to get it to bolt up. When I do this i'll do it step by step in my photo gallery.
