Default sportsman 50 smoking too much

we have a sportsman 50 that has set up for over a year. It is smoking too much. I replace plug, cleaned carb, replace fluids.
Any suggestions?

Welcome to the boards.

Polaris doesn't make a Sportsman 50. Are you talking about a 90 or a 500?

Have you tried the nicotene patch?

Come on, you have to admit that's funny.

well, its obviously burning to much oil. When you changed all the fluids, did you change the oil to, if you did, did you also remember to change the oil filter

you might have a stuck oil ring letting the oil get up to the plug

I had that problem, my was a excessive amount of oil deposits in the exhaust. Low rpm riding will do that. Two things to fix it take it out and ripp around at high rpm for some time and or take a propane torch and heat the exhaust pipe cherry red. Have the machine running and start at the cylinder and work your way back.

It's a 2-stroke, I'm pretty sure there's no oil filter.

I think it has an inline filter between the tank and the injector.
